PARTURITION-SOME FACTS

Retention of placenta is the most common post partum problem in cattle and buffaloes.

Number of factors lead to atonicity or flaccidity of uterine musculature. In addition,strong cotyledonary attachments often cause retained foetal membrane(Placenta) for longer period. Subsequently it starts decomposing and there-by develops infection.

Delayed intercalving period

Low conception rate

Reduces fertility.

Reduction in milk yield.

DIRECTION FOR USE

For Large Animal:-

Immediately after parturition

225 ml for 2 days.

For retained placenta:-

225 ml Immediately

225 ml After 6 hrs.

For repeat breeders:-

150 ml for 3 days.

For small Animals :-

Half of the above doses
